Day 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE
Depart in the morning from Arusha for a visit of Tarangire National Park, a land par excellence of elephants and baobabs who live here in perfect symbiosis. The landscapes of the park are of rare and wild beauty. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and look out for animals until sunset. Arrive at Tarangire Safari Lodge, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 : TARANGIRE – LAKE MANYARA
Depart after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake at the foot of the Rift Escarpment. It is also a reserve sheltering forest elephants and an unusual population of tree climbing lions. The birds inhabiting the shores of the lake are of an extraordinary variety. Each year hundreds of species of migratory birds nest at Manyara. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and look out for animals all afternoon. Exit the park at the end of the afternoon by taking the road criss-crossing the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and ascending the high Ngorongoro plateau. Arrive at Ngorongoro Farm House at sunset. Check-in, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: NGORONGORO – SERENGETI
After morning breakfast, leave your lodge to descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for a game drive, looking out for animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and go up the rim by a steep trail and then head in the direction of the immense plains of the Serengeti, theatre of the biggest migration in the world of herbivores.. Arrive at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp at sunset. Check-in, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: SERENGETI
After breakfast at the lodge, you will begin a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. This park covers an area of 14,763 square kilometers and has a range of different habitats including open grasslands, marshes, forests and kopjes. You will spend the day moving around the different habitats looking for animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, hippos, impala, zebras, wildebeest, Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle and many others. There is a wide variety of bird life. The sheer size of this park and its amazing changing scenery makes this a day to remember.

Day 5: SERENGETI NORTH
Leave the camp at sunrise for a game drive, return for breakfast. Head North to the border of Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya in search of the Great migration. Arrive at Lodge Lobo Wildlife for check-in and lunch.
Day 6: SERENGETI – LAKE NATRON
Depart after breakfast through the park for the Loliondo plateau and Lake Natron. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Descend the Great Rift Valley escarpment towards Lake Natron which appears on the horizon as you approach. The temperature gradually increases on the trail descending to the foot of the Ol Donyio Lengai volcano (Mount Masai 2878 m) whose slopes are covered with soda ash and lava that give the terrain a lunar aspect. Arrive at Lake Natron Tented Camp in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight. Late afternoon
Day 7: LAKE NATRON
After breakfast depart on a walk to the Ngare Sero waterfall. Enjoy bathing under several waterfalls that drain into a gorge of the Rift escarpment. Return back to the camp for lunch. Walk in the afternoon to the shores of Lake Natron where thousands of flamingos and hundreds of pelicans are gathered. The lake has a high concentration of alkaline salts which has led the development of a microscopic alga essential for the survival and reproduction of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.
Day 8: LAKE NATRON – ARUSHA
Depart after breakfast on a trail that winds along the Great Rift escarpment to Lake Manyara. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Return back to Arusha by road. Arrival expected in late afternoon.
